Does what it’s supposed to

Thanks for the app, elegant and well done. I think there’s just one thing missing, you should let users pause the timer. Sometimes we are interrupted or have to answer a urgent call and it would be good to freeze the timer to restart from where we left. Thanks, anyway, great job!

Please Make a Mobile Version!

This app has not only helped me become more productive but reduce my stress. I’ve struggled with how to be productive in my new graduate program and this app helps me to break down my workload so it feels managable. I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to do more than one or two pomodoros at a time, but I’m already up to four and it feels effortless! I’ve been recommending it to my fellow first year students who also feel swamped with work. I love how simple and sleek the design is as well. The only thing that could improve this app for me is if there was a mobile version as well so I could keep track of my progress anywhere, and use it when I don’t need my laptop for the assignment.

Pomodoro for Free

Id like to have the timer notify me of a timer finishing via the Notification Center rather than pop up the window in front of everything Im working on.

Simple, elegant, out of the way

This has really helped me to focus on working without constantly checking the clock. I can get in the zone and this app will let me know when the time’s up. I’m glad it has minimal settings and is no fuss to use. My only request would be a sound to accompany the end of a pomodoro. Sometimes I’m not looking right at my screen during work and can miss the timing.

Great but Needs a Pause Button

This app is beautiful. I love the design—spare, light, clean—and it integrates beautifully into the menu bar. There’s nothing wrong with it, except that you can’t hit pause! The only way to stop a pomodoro is to stop altogether, and then it starts you over on a new pomodoro when you hit start again. Maybe that’s good for productivity, but it’s frustrating when all you need to do is go to the bathroom and don’t necessarily want it to count as your break, or when someone interrupts you while working (or breaking) and you want that time back. Please add a pause button! Otherwise, the app is great: simple, and minimally customizable (a fact which, as the queen of procrastinators, makes it a lot easier for me to just get to work).

Great, but other functions needed

I like the neat design and simplicity. But missing a few things: 1. keyboard shortcuts to toggle timer on and off 2. ability to set a long break after four pomodoros 3. ability to pause

a great way to be focused

Simple app for very simple purpose. It helps me to get focused and be more productive. The countdown is a great way to get something done on time. A pause button would be very helpful.

Great app

Nice and clean GUI, it helps me a lot to finish my tasks and stop procrastinating, haha. Thanks a lot!

Good So far - except theme switch bug

I’m loving it so far - it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I have one issue: I use some apps to automatically switch the Yosemite theme to Dark one at night. All other icons change automatically but this one doesn’t. This app does have 2 different icons for the light and dark themes but the icon which was used when it was started stays and does not change if the Yosemite theme is changed while the app is running. As a result, I have to restart this app ever morning and every evening. Please Fix.

Clean and effective app

Very simple and straight forward app that not only gets you focused on your pomodoros, but also tracks them over time. Great to see how many you have completed today and in the past. Nothing flashy or distracting, just a clean looking and well functioning timer and pomodoro tracker.

Very clean basic. I like it.

Turning on menubar option is even greater!

Great, but needs a pause button.

I use this app every workday, and I love it! It’s clean, lets me easily see a graph of the hours I’ve spent working, and it has a menubar mode that lets me easily control the timer and see how much time I left. The only thing that keeps this from being a 5 star app is it’s lack of a pause button. If I need to take a personal call, step away from my desk, etc. my only options are to let the timer keep going or stop it and start the timer from the begining when I get back to work. The lack of a pause button is actually the only reason I’m even on the app store right now, as I’m about to search for other timers to see if I can find one that works just as well and allows me to pause, and I thought I’d leave a quick review here since this one has served me so well (aside from not being able to pause).

Great app

Very simple app but there’s a lot of power in having a timer displaying while you complete tasks

Nice, simple but effective menu bar display

Elegant and simple. I’d like the option to not have a window open when the app opens, Instead just have the menu bar clock. The advertisment at the bottom of the window adds clutter. (obviously) Thanks!

Great and free :)

A handy app! 4 stars cause still needs a pause button :)

LOVE!

I absolutely adore this app! One of the issues I saw with the Pomodoro tecnique is that the original break time (3-5 minutes) wasn’t long enough, for me. This app lets me modify the work and break time as I see fit, counts how many “pomodoros” I complete, and lets me see a statistic of work productivity. It’s simple enough to be the perfect app for me.

Most critical app of my day

can we have the option to hide the icon from the dock andd keep it in the menubar

5 Stars

Best OSX Pomodoro app. Thanks for option to not auto-start pomodoros! :)

Improved!

Good pomodoro app to begin with but with new updates it is great!

Where is the pause button?

In the menu bar I saw pause/unpause (should probably be called resume though), in the UI I only see stop button, am I missing something?
