Tomato One - Free Focus Timer App Reviews

69 Customer Reviews:

The basic idea of pomodoro is to work in timed sprints with breaks to refresh. Pomodoro One does everything necessary to support this. I especially like the way it moves from sprint to rest automatically, so unless I manually stop it, it cycles through the day without me having to do more. I also like that it requires me to go to the menu bar to pause it. Pausing cancels a pomodoro because it breaks the sprint aspect, so it should not be easy to do.

Does exactly what it should, and no more

Simple, easy to use, no knobs or whistles you don’t need.

The timing is perfect and I like the nice UI and dings. The best part is the little status in the upper right hand corner of the screen so you can see your remaining time at a glance.

Switched to this app from Pomodoro Time because PT wasn’t working properly (after 6 months of use it suddenly started doing long breaks at random times, not ‘completing’ at end of day, etc.). Pomodoro One is nice and simple and works well, but I wish there were quick keys to start, stop and skip, as there are in PT.

Unable to pause

It is either not possible or unnecessarily difficult to pause.
