Tomato One - Free Focus Timer App Reviews

I have tried a dozen different pomo timers from Chrome extensions, apps, physical timers and this one is my favorite. I love it and works very well. Only thing that I wish it did: remind me to start it. I will be working for an hour when I get in to the office in the morning and forget to turn it on.

Could have been great but the add at the bottom of the app is ruining the design.

Pomodoro One is one of the best pomodoro technique apps I’ve tried. Beautiful design, no unnecessary features, just what I need.

Pros: Clean and very intuitive interface. Duration os pomodoros and breaks are customizable. Cons: Lacks a pause option (crucial in case of interruptions). Lacks long breaks after 4 pomodoros.

It’s simple as it should. But need more features. Some items to consider: - IMPORTANT: Ability to turn the pop up On and Off, with the option of a Sound Notification ONLY (this is important as if I’m working on a complex task, say, in Photoshop, and the clock appears); - Ability to maintain the registry of performance, with not only weeks, but months and years, with totalizations/comparisons; - Ability to enter a follow-up list with an optional deadline; - Ability to let us play the follow-up item/list and show a timer to deadline And/Or to Pomodoro breaks; - Ability to click on a button to have increments of +5 minutes more or to conclude task. Really simple and does everything you need it!

Simple, clean (and productivity-enhancing?) design and does just what I want. Plus, the statistics feature can be used to track your working time.

This thing is eating up 15% of my CPU just to count down. Is it mining bitcoins or what? Do not download.

Works solidly and looks nice.

It would be lovely if we could pause the app from the main screen instead of just the menu bar. Frequently I want to pause my break because I want to finish up the current task after the pomodoro ends. However the break starts ticking right away and there is no conveneient way to stop it unless I go to the menu bar.

This is irritating because sometimes work or rest can take longer than 5/25 minutes.

Rating it 4 because it won’t let me see whole history starting from day one of using the app. It only allows to see statistics for current and last week. It would also be nice to be able to leave tags for each pomodoro session.

Very nice app, thank you! The only thing missing is the support for long breaks: according to Pomodoro technique, every 4th break should take 15 minutes.

I wish only one thing from this app — possibility for remove the application icon from Dock when launched.

It does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Very good! I’d definitely pay for it if it was not free.

Hi! I use Dark Theme for Mac OS MenuBar. When I use it with two displays, and my big display not in focus, it’s really hard to see what numbers are there. Please make it brighter! thanks :)
